3rd Annual InDevelopment Conference

February 3, 2012

7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m

The third annual InDevelopment Conference arrives at the Radisson Paper Valley in Appleton on Feb. 3.

The event will run from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and will feature keynote speaker Anton “Tony” Nelessen, one of the nation’s most respected urban visionaries. His work has been featured in Newsweek, Consumer Reports and many research studies.

With economic development on the forefront of business leaders’ minds, the event’s afternoon breakout sessions will highlight “The Ignite Fox Cities Report” delivered by Garner Economics, a visioning workshop with Nelessen and a presentation by Paul Jadin, CEO of the Wisconsin Economic Development Corp.

“I think the opportunity to work with individuals around the area is important,” says Karen Harkness, director of community development for the City of Appleton. “InDevelopment is an opportunity for new initiatives that are fresh and are important to the success of economic development, whether you are a Realtor® or a developer.”

The day-long event is designed to bring commercial real estate and economic development professionals together in an interactive setting to share information about ideas, trends and opportunities, says Tim Rinn of Ganther Construction and a member of the event’s steering committee.

“It is important to be in the forefront of changes in the economy,” he says. “This is an opportunity to touch all the potential business clients in one day.”

The early bird fee is $55 if registered by Jan. 20 or $65 after Jan. 20.

Centergy is a non-partisan organization that identifies issues for state and federal assistance. 10:30am - 5pm - Centergy Team meetings set up with Governor Walker, his Cabinet, and legislative leaders

5 - 7pm - WMC's Welcome Reception with U.S. Senate Candidates and WMC's
registered guests at the Madison Club (Please note that Centergy will not be hosting our own reception this year, but encouraging our team members to register with WMC for the reception and Business Day. There is a cost to attend their event. You may register for the event HERE.)

7am - Centergy Team Breakfast Meeting with Cabinet Members/debrief at the Top of the Park at the Inn on the Park 
9am - WMC's Business Day at Monona Terrace (separate registration required)...
