Deb Ersland
Principal
Since 1992, Deborah F. Ersland has been President of Best Real Estate Group, Inc., a full-service commercial real estate firm. Ms. Ersland has more than 30 years experience in real estate brokerage, project analysis, historic renovation, project development, site-selection, project design, leasing, and property management. Her real estate experience ranges from hotels, free-standing retail, shopping centers, office buildings, warehousing, industrial space, waterfront-townhomes, along with elderly and family housing throughout Wisconsin. She has been responsible for the leasing and management of over 800,000 square feet of retail space; 600,000 square feet of office space; and the development and management of over 700 units of housing.
Current consulting projects have included working with numerous communities interested in evaluating their downtowns or business districts. This includes examining tenant mix, physical/streetscape issues, parking, business recruitment, market assessment, working with property owners, business district management and/or individual retail or business consulting.
Since 1988, Ms. Ersland has taught a seminar, "Business Recruitment: A Practical Approach", to communities throughout Wisconsin and Illinois. This seminar assists communities in formulating a volunteer based business recruitment program. She has served five years on the Board of Directors of the Wisconsin Downtown Action Council, and been active in downtown revitalization activities
throughout Wisconsin.
Kristen Fish
Principal
Kristen Fish has 20 years of direct experience leading the business development efforts of a small municipality, and working in media and manufacturing sectors. She has managed all aspects of a business development program including business recruitment, retention, entrepreneurial programming, marketing, loan fund management and deal structuring. She managed the land sale and development in the City of Wausau’s 400+ acre industrial park, including a recent $30 million private corporate headquarters/manufacturing development. She also managed a municipal Tax Increment Financing program, creating and amending several TIF districts.
She took a leading role in planning, design, construction and programming for a new 42,900 square foot business incubator including successful grant writing and other funding acquisition.
Ms. Fish was President of the Wisconsin Economic Development Association in 2008. She was a Board Member of the International Economic Development Council in 2006-2008. She is a Certified Economic Developer (CEcD) through the International Economic Development Association. She has her Master of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh, and her Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of North Dakota.

Tim Anderson is a former Principal and founding owner of Schreiber Anderson Associates, a Madison-based planning, landscape architecture and civil engineering firm. Tim has over 36 years of community planning and design experience. His work has focused on downtown and neighborhood master plans; urban infill and redevelopment projects; architectural design guidelines; waterfront, streetscape and public space designs, and historic preservation.
Lyn Falk

Author, educational speaker and award winning Registered Interior Designer, Lyn Falk has been designing healthy, purposeful and profitable spaces for over 25 years. Her expertise in business, retail design, and consumer psychology has been acknowledged over 140 times in 80 different publications. Falk serves as a consultant for the National Main Street Center and is Founder/President of Retailworks, Inc.
Mike Morrissey

Mike Morrissey has a long successful history in municipal government, responsible for all planning, administration, financing and execution of housing, redevelopment, economic and community development functions. Morrissey is adept at creating partnerships for difficult projects and significantly improving the landscape and property tax base while eliminating blight and energizing a community’s city center.
